Amari intake for Practical Baking & decoration Classes in July 2020

We’re glad to announce that we’re restarting our practical classes from July 13th, 2020. We will do so very carefully with precautions in place to ensure Covid-safety for both our instructors and students. Below are the pre-caution on Covid Safety in our bakery workshop

COVID-19 SAFETY: Please note that we require all our students to wear a face mask all through the class, we will also provide a dust-coat and gloves for you to wear as well during practical classes. All these precautions are mandatory and if you cannot abide by them; you cannot attend our classes. If you fail to comply while in class with any of these precautions, you will be ask to leave the class. In line with the social-distancing directive; we are only taking 4 students per class.

Amari Short Basic Baking Course. Dates: July 13th to 17th (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily) Cost: Kshs. 8,500. Deadline to book is – July 10th.

This course is for you if: You’re getting into the baking world and you want to learn basic baking skills to use at home as a hobby or to test out whether Baking is a skill you’re interested in pursuing.

Amari 3-Day Beginner Fondant Class Dates: July 21st to 23rd (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily) Cost: Kshs. 5,000. Deadline to book is – July 18th.

This course is for you if: You’re looking to start learning how to decorate using fondant. This is a decoration only class, no baking.

Amari 1-Day Beginner Yeast Class. Date: July 24th (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily) Cost: Kshs. 2,000. Deadline to book is – July 21st.

This course is for you if: You’re looking to learn basic entry-level bread skills for a day.

Amari 1-Day Local Pastries Class. Date: July 25th (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily) Cost: Kshs. 2,000. Deadline to book is – July 22nd.

This course is for you if: You want to learn how to make simple local fried snacks in your home kitchen for a day.

Amari 3-Day Wedding Cake Class. Date: July 28th to 30th (9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily) Cost: Kshs. 8,000. Deadline to book is – July 25th.

This course is for you if: You’re looking to learn how to decorate and stack cakes for wedding orders. This is a decoration only class, no baking.

Amari 1-Day Puff Pastries Class. Date: August 1st (9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily) Cost: Kshs. 2,500. Deadline to book is – July 30th.

This course is for you if: You’re looking to learn or improve your Puff pastry skills for a day.

Contact us if interested in attending any of the above classes, our bakery workshop is located on Ndwaru rd, in Riruta/Waithaka area, off Naivasha rd. On Google Maps, search “Amari Baking Center”. If you want to attend the classes and you’ve never visited our bakery workshop; please call ahead and schedule a visit – it’s not mandatory but it’s highly advise-able for time planning when it comes to punctuality in class.

To visit, please make sure to call ahead and confirm the best times to visit as the bakery workshop may not be open to visitors at all times. Thank you
