Then the Intermediate cake making and decoration course is for you.

In this baking course; you learn two methods of how to make sponge cakes. You also learn how to assemble them into Forrest Cakes; the Black and White Forrest Cake, as well as how to decorate the cakes with Cream Frosting. You learn how to make a Chocolate Fudge cake, decorate it using chocolate buttercream and Chocolate Ganache to create a Death by Chocolate Cake. You will learn how to make a light fruit cake and cover it with fondant icing; you will also learn how to make fondant, cover a cake and do basic fondant decorations e.g. rope border, how to make a Lily flower and a Rose flower.

We also teach you how to make a Red Velvet Cake and decorate it with Cream cheese frosting and also how to make a Lemon pound cake and decorate it with lemon glaze. You will also learn how to make Royal Icing and practice how to decorate a cake with it.

Also Covered: Advanced costing & pricing, Food Hygiene, Sanitation & Safety, HACCP overview and Basic Customer Service.

We only take max of 6 students per session in order to make sure each students learns & practices to the best of their ability.

Next Intake: OCTOBER 2018 – Weekdays 

Oct. 16th to 18th, 23rd to 25th & Oct. 3rd to Nov. 2nd  – Weekdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cost is Kshs. 16,000. To book the class; visit our bakery workshop on Ndwaru Rd in Riruta/Waithaka area, then place a deposit of Kshs. 8,000 to book your spot – at least 3 days before start of class. Balance is due by the fifth session of Kshs.8,000. Payment can be made in cash or after the visit through our Mpesa Buy Goods Till no. 89736.
