This course is for you if: You’re getting into the baking world and you want to learn professional basic baking and decoration skills. You should most definitely book your spot in our Basic Cake Making and Decoration Short Course right away. This course will get you started on your baking journey.
What you Learn:
- Cakes: Lemon Cupcakes, Vanilla Cake, Chocolate Sponge Cake, Vanilla Sponge Cake, Banana Bread, Marble Cake, Lemon Cake and Chocolate Mint Cake. Black & White Forest cake assembly.
- Frostings: Royal Icing, Buttercream Frosting & Cream Frosting (non-dairy).
- Basic Fondant Decoration, Piping skills, and Writing on cakes. Basic Costing & Pricing.
- Professional Basic baking & decoration skills.
Class Days: Weekdays – 10 Sessions ( 2 weeks: 5 days per week – Mondays to Fridays: 9 am to 2 pm)
Next Intake: January 2023 Dates: Jan. 9th to 13th & 16th to 20th: 9am to 2 pm each day. (2 weeks: Mondays to Fridays)

Certificate of Participation issued with hours attended.
Disclaimer: We are a Bakery kitchen offering experiences to those who want to know what bakers do in a kitchen hands-on/practical setting. We also offer baking apprenticeship. Please note we are not a college. We only provide a Certificate of Participation. We are NOT a TVET institution. Our certificate does record the number of hours you learned and the baking skill learned.
Previous Students and their Projects
- We only take a maximum of 6 students per session in order to make sure each student learns & practices to the best of their ability.
- Cost is Kshs. 25,000. To book the class; visit our bakery workshop on Ndwaru Rd in Riruta/Waithaka area in Nairobi. Then make sure to pay full payment at least 3 days before start of class to secure your spot.
