Course Name: 12-week Amari Cake Artist Bootcamp

It takes exactly 12 weeks (approximately 3 to 3 1/2 months) duration to complete. (Will depend on scheduled dates for all classes and when you sign up for the course) Check full details of the class on the posters below.

ONGOING INTAKE: July to August 2024. Next class starting September 9th, 2024.


For this course; students will attend 12 weeks of class, Mondays to Thursdays – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a total of: 48 Weekday Sessions = 192 hours

LOCATION: This program will run at our Bakery class workshop on Ngong rd in Nairobi. Shop no. 50, Ground floor – Arcade Discounts Mall next to The Greenhouse mall and Soko Safi. (Stage: Adams Arcade).

Why should you enroll in Amari classes?

  1. We offer hands-on classes; not demonstration. Each student will learn how to bake and decorate cakes and will work on their own project.
  2. We incorporate theory learning in all our classes; our students don’t only learn ‘How’ to mix and bake; but also ‘why’.
  3. We cover important topics such as costing and pricing cakes; especially for our student bakers who want to learn and start online baking businesses to earn some extra income.
  4. We offer support after class in various ways; including offering practice sessions and community group support.

You have 3 payment options – each with a different discount rate:

  • One-time payment = Kshs. 82,000
  • Two-part payment = Kshs. 87,000
  • Three-Part payments = Kshs. 92,000

Payment Periods:

Two-part payment: Initial payment paid at least 3 days before start of class and balance payment to be made 4 weeks after first payment. (Deposit/Initial payment is Kshs. 45,000; balance payment = Kshs. 42,000)

Three-part payment: Initial payment paid at least 3 days before start of class, second payment 3 weeks after first payment. Third payment is paid 6 weeks after first payment. (Deposit/Initial Payment must be Kshs. 35,000; the second payment is Kshs. 30,000 and third payment Kshs. 27,000)

Certificate of Participation issued with hours attended.

Disclaimer: We are a baking apprenticeship-based business. We award our students a Certificate of Participation. We are NOT a TVET Institution. Our certificate does record the number of hours you learn and the baking skill learned.
