Why you should register a Business name for your baking business in Kenya

In this post; we share 3 reasons why you should run your small bakery business legally in Kenya by registering your bakery business name. Whether you have a small baking shop or you’re running a home-based baking business; you should register a business name.

You may be wondering why that’s important, here’s why:

  1. You’re able to own your own business identity.

This means that no one else can use your exact business name at all. You’re able to own your bakery business identity comfortably.

Own your business brand

2. It ensures that you’re running a legal business

If you’re baking for business; the best way to do it is in line with the County law. This will avoid any challenges you may encounter in the future especially when dealing with larger or corporate clients, or with government officials. If you’re doing business; do it the right way.

3. Helps make sure that you’re using an original name

You may pick a name to start using when baking for business; especially when baking at home. Then after using the name for a few months; you discover that there is another Business with that exact name. To avoid that type of challenge; search for a business name before starting business or at least early in your business journey. This will help you secure your own business name.
